Galvalume (GL) Steel Coils

Galvalume (GL) is a metallic coated carbon steel product that has proven its superior performance as a corrosion resistant building material in extended field testing in a diverse range of environments. The Galvalume coating is an alloy composed of 55% Aluminium and approximately 45% zinc by weight. It is applied on both sides of cold-rolled steel sheet using a precise continuous hot dip process. The result is highly corrosion resistant coated steel that combines the barrier protection and extended durability of Aluminium with the galvanic protection of zinc.

Advantages of Galvalume coating :
  • At least twice the corrosion resistance of traditional galvanized coatings of similar thickness under the same exposure conditions
  • Excellent corrosion protection at cut edges
  • A distinctive appearance, with a smooth, fine spangle and silvery metallic appearance
  • Exceptional solar reflectance, resulting in lower energy load on buildings and improved interior comfort

Galvanised (GI) Steel Coils

Galvanis (GI) Metallic coated sheet, specifically continuously hot-dip zinc-coated (galvanised) sheet, is a well-known product with a versatile range of applications in general industry, buildings, construction and appliances. As the name implies, continuous hot-dip coating involves the application of a molten coating onto the surface of steel sheet (cold- or hot rolled) in a non-stop process.

Galvalume pra-cat (PPGL) is made to rigid specifications, and quality tested to meet the steel and Galvalume coating requirements of worldwide industrials’ standards. The paint system is applied to the paint manufacturers’ specifications and tested in accordance with stringent standards.

This combination of long-lasting Galvalume sheet and modern high-performance paint systems results in durable, versatile, colourful, and economical building products.
